How We Save Lives

How You Can Help

AED Program Management

SPREADING THE WORD

* The Ray of Life Foundation believes strongly that educating the community is crucial to saving lives.

* We are committed to educating the public about the dangers of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and the importance of strengthening the Chain of Survival.

* We teach people the importance of dialing 911 immediately when a victim suddenly collapses.

* We encourage and initiate CPR/AED training for the layperson but more importantly strive to instill confidence in their training abilities, because every second counts.

* CPR should begin as soon as possible. We know that CPR can extend the window of opportunity for rescuers to provide life saving measures, while CPR is preventive it is not corrective.

* Defibrillation is the only treatment for Sudden Cardiac Arrest. AEDs Save Lives!

AED Instructor Foundation

The AED Instructor Foundation is a nonprofit organization created to support and assist First Aid and CPR instructors who teach initial life-support and automated external defibrillator (AED) use.  We offer our Affiliates support and resources that help them reach their personal and professional goals, educate others who are likely to be the first to detect and respond to victims of sudden cardiac arrest and to extend the protection of early defibrillation to people with "hearts and brains too good to die."
